Three new VME64 boards have been launched in 2015 based on tried and tested technology that is anticipated to have long life cycles. VP E2x/msd - Intel® Atom™ Processor, Single or Dual Site PMC/XMC Controller
VP E2x/msd is a low power consumption VME board with a wide spread of I/O interfaces that has been designed for long life-cycle applications. It offers sufficient processing and graphics performance for many existing VME applications and is able to start running an application within a few seconds with the optional Fast Boot software package.
