一：概述
在環(huán)境污染的監(jiān)測和水體污染的調(diào)查工作中，要真實(shí)地反映水質(zhì)污染狀況。必須采集具有代表性的水樣。特別是當(dāng)前用立法和經(jīng)濟(jì)手段搞好環(huán)境管理的情況下，在水資源保護(hù)工作中，如何采集具有代表性水樣的方法及其正確性，就是得更為重要。
可是，工廠排放的污水的水質(zhì)、水量往往在短時間內(nèi)有很大變化，生活污水也隨著人們生活習(xí)慣及季節(jié)變化而改變，所以總的水體和河流的污染情況是很復(fù)雜。而我們以往的取樣工具，一直是比較落后的手工操作。工作量大、準(zhǔn)確性差。。
778型水質(zhì)自動采樣器是專為排水工程中常用的四種量水堰配備的流量函數(shù)容器和電子儀器，達(dá)到采集有代表性的水樣。
本儀器可供工廠廢水排放口，河流固定水質(zhì)監(jiān)測點(diǎn)等處水質(zhì)采樣使用，是一種*的取樣工具和計(jì)量工具。
二：儀器結(jié)構(gòu)
水質(zhì)自動采樣器、主要有以下組成：
（1） 采樣控制器：裝于室內(nèi)，主要是設(shè)置采樣時間和采樣工作。
（2） 采樣電機(jī)：裝于室外水池
三：使用方法
（1） 將采樣電機(jī)的電源,插入到控制器后部（注意：采樣電機(jī)不可以全部浸入水中）,將配套的采樣管和采樣電機(jī)的出水口接好.
（2） 將采樣水管從采樣出水口接好、另一段接入實(shí)驗(yàn)室的取水瓶中。
（3） 將采樣電機(jī)的電源線和室內(nèi)的采樣器主機(jī)連好。
（4） 接上主機(jī)的電源，設(shè)定好采樣時間、就可工作。
