該細胞系是1984年由Friedman等建立的；在裸鼠體內(nèi)可以成瘤。該細胞系中纖維原蛋白、谷氨酰胺合成酶、神經(jīng)元*烯醇酶陽性，但神經(jīng)膠質(zhì)纖維蛋白、S-100蛋白陰性；UJ13A單克隆抗體檢測該細胞神經(jīng)外胚層抗原陽性；c-myc癌基因高表達。
