保存條件：Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

英文介紹：The protein encoded by this gene is a component of the multi-subunit protein complex EIF4F. This complex facilitates the recruitment of mRNA to the ribosome, which is a rate-limiting step during the initiation phase of protein synthesis. The recognition of the mRNA cap and the ATP-dependent unwinding of 5'-terminal secondary structure is catalyzed by factors in this complex. The subunit encoded by this gene is a large scaffolding protein that contains binding sites for other members of the EIF4F complex. A domain at its N-terminus can also interact with the poly(A)-binding protein, which may mediate the circularization of mRNA during translation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants, some of which are derived from alternative promoter usage.

Anti-eIF4G抗體,真核翻譯起始因子4G抗體上樣與電泳:

冷卻到室溫后，把蛋白樣品直接上樣到SDS-PAGE膠加樣孔內(nèi)即可。為了便于觀察電泳效果和轉(zhuǎn)膜效果，以及判斷蛋白分子量大小，使用預(yù)染蛋白質(zhì)分子量標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。
電泳時通常*在上層膠時使用低電壓恒壓電泳，而在溴酚藍(lán)進(jìn)入下層膠時使用高電壓恒壓電泳。對于Bio-Rad的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)電泳裝置或類似電泳裝置，低電壓可以設(shè)置在80-100V，高電壓可以設(shè)置在120V左右。SDS-PAGE可以采用普通的電泳儀就可以滿足要求。為了電泳方便起見，也可以采用整個SDS-PAGE過程恒壓的方式，通常把電壓設(shè)置在100V，然后設(shè)定定時時間為90－120分鐘。設(shè)置定時可以避免經(jīng)常發(fā)生的電泳過頭。
通常電泳時溴酚藍(lán)到達(dá)膠的底端處附近即可停止電泳，或者可以根據(jù)預(yù)染蛋白質(zhì)分子量標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的電泳情況，預(yù)計目的蛋白已經(jīng)被適當(dāng)分離后即可停止電泳。
